Pop Culture Makeovers – Brand Storytelling Campaign
Creative Direction // Copywriter // Project Manager
MODSY, 2018–2021
How would the iconic Friends apartment look if Monica and Chandler still lived there? Or what about the Seinfeld apartment if Jerry never gave up his lease? I was a key member of the team that created this series of pop culture makeovers, showcasing the power of Modsy’s 3D rendering technology in a fun and highly-engaging format.
The makeovers were regularly picked up by top-name media outlets including People Magazine, Today, and Apartment Therapy.
The Friends Apartment Reimagined
When we last saw them, all six of the friends were turning in the keys to that iconic NYC apartment and heading their separate ways. In 2018, to celebrate the show’s 14th anniversary, we gave the purple apartment a makeover in Modsy 3D for three different endings—if Monica and Chandler, Rachel, and Joey had taken over (or kept) the lease.
The Seinfeld Apartment Reimagined
Back in 2018 we were celebrating the 29th (?!?!) anniversary of Seinfeld’s premiere. To celebrate the close of its third decade, our team reimagined how the apartment might look today if Jerry still lived there. But we also had to have a little fun and imagine what might have happened if Elaine, George, or even Kramer took over the lease.
The Gilmore Girls House Reimagined
I’ve been watching Gilmore Girls on repeat since the revival aired back in 2016 so when the time finally came to celebrate the original show’s 19th anniversary, I was ready. The team turned up the heat for this virtual makeover and reimagined Lorelai’s iconic Stars Hollow home if it were decorated by some of our favorite characters—Lorelai herself, Rory, Luke, Paris, and Sookie.
